Katharine Jessica Interior Design, LLC is a New York based residential design firm known for its simplicity in design. Katharine Posillico McGowan, the firm's principal, oversees each project planning the entire home. From working with architects on preliminary plans to creating detailed floor plans to finished homes.
McGowan and her team establish and maintain direct client relationships throughout the entire project, listening to the needs and vision of the clients. The end result is a marriage of function, form, style and comfort.
Her work is characterized by her ability to create beautiful livable environments for today. McGowan's attention to detail and ability to mix finishes and textures create subtle elegant spaces that meet her client's needs.
McGowan has been involved in the design world for 20 years, beginning her career as a fashion buyer then a product designer. From there she attended New York School of Interior Design and finally launched her own design firm in 2003. She was featured in the Mansions and Millionaires 2005 Spring Designer Showcase and her work from the show case was featured in Distinction Magazine. Katharine has also been published in New York Spaces Magazine where she was recognized as "10 New Designers to Watch".
